    3 pieces is interesting. Bolger did one where the 3 pieces fastened athwart ships, not fore and aft. I think it was designed for use by a maximum of 2 adults. Dave Gerr did a ten and a half foot kayak based on the Wee Lassie hull form which breaks into three pieces and stow within each other.
