As a kiwi I’m wishing the Italians no bad luck. Which means if ETNZ wins today’s races it’s not due an equipment failure on LR.

I wonder if our Italian friends are feeling optimistic today. It’s a nice light breeze ie Prada weather. You have a nice new set of foils and the dual helm team seems to be working.  I’m half a Pom so I have to support Ineos  but I can’t help feeling a little nervous when I look out the window...

LR now have to face Ineos a boat that beat them when damaged. The. Italians say there 10% faster and they will need to be,  because Ineos will also be faster.

The one thing about LR is they don’t always spend big. In the 2013 campaign he bought the design and built one boat. For the amount of worth he has you could say it was a minimal effort. Maybe LR is also a marketing concept to Patrizio Bertelli.
