The upwind sails are in good nick actually they will do a year or two. Do need some fractional downwind gear it's all big stuff and being in Wellington will need some little gear

You know what ? You can love the AC and enjoy Sail GP for what it is. It isn't the AC but it's still good to watch it doesn't have to be either or both are good IMO sail GP fills a gap
