The 10oz (ml?) glasses are stemmed. Those poors are generally high abv, 8 to 12+ % and or small batch uber beers. Same price as a pint. Puts the crafty in craft beers. Snooty? A little. Tasty? Yep. Lot like a tri-radial or string mizzen.

Windsurf rigs got rid of the snotter and went to a mechanical clamp. That was a nice upgrade.
