    Unless there is a known angle of rudder rake for your boat, i would think it would be a good idea to sail the boat with the new rudders sans winglets in order to test the helm first. If for example you had a touch of lee or weather helm that you wanted to fine tune; changing the rudder rake...

    from my limited winglet experience your hope is well founded. i used 1-2 degrees up on the leading edge of the winglet and got enough lift to support my weight. but not on an Acat; it should work the same on all non-foilers i think.

    Question about the dolly- Do T or L daggerboard foils interfere with the dolly since those usually go under the daggerboard trunks? my opinion is that the A class is already optimized for the lighter side of sailing and the most people in usa that race them don't race in foiling conditions...

    Seems to me that the down force aspect of the blades could really prove an advantage when powered up. The more you can sheet in and drive hard the faster you get to the bouy.
