On a more serious note, why the hell wouldn't he come over? Ratcliffe did. If (and thats a BIG if) LR win this thing, surely he'd want to be here to help hoist the cup? Even if they don't win, it'd be a fucking awesome time.

I agree. However THIS time seems different. The boat is still beautiful, but not as much as previous cups (I for one liked AM's boat the most). If you look at this cup, they seem to have MUCH more of a professional focus (no cigarettes, more aggressive as CoR, etc).

Well, they were certainly snug. I can remember thinking I knew Max way more that I would like to ;) But the boat was just gorgeous. Its a shame that didn't go the same way with this one as I think the monohull would have looked even more so.

I think the silver bullet in San Francisco would have to take that title.

San Francisco for me undoubtedly cos I already had the match done and dusted in my mind. Also, watching so many other kiwis kick fuck out of Dalts, Barker and the rest of Etnz after a magnificent effort made thing extra crappy.
