The first thing that pops in my head is = Why isn't Daddy volunteering to help. What kind of father knows his kids is in need of help, has the means to help, and stands by doing nothing?
So much wrong information here. Pick an island. Go there. Don't be stupid and you wont have any more crime issues than you do in any "1st World developed" country. Don't be stupid and you won't have any more financial issues than you do where you are now. You can even live in a normal house...
I didn't even know the Expanse was a book series until right now, but I have nothing against the sets. I even like/approve of the way they've depicted somethings. The acting I'd have said was pretty decent, even good for some of them. It's the butchering of the story line I'm mad at.
Oh...
Of course I can’t just say no. I have to see just how bad it gets. Like Game of Thrones I followed the books for damn near 20 years. That’s like a life investment. Can’t just quit now

Any of Ya'll around that area. Any mid week sailing going on?
any other shenanigans to be aware of?
How long are you going to be here? 10 days or less? I'd go the available Wifi route. Two weeks or more, just go to any electronics store and get a CHIPPIE sim card. It's like $30 and comes with a certain amount of credit( don't remember the amount). But you'll want at least $20 of credit on...
For the record, It can be 'Bajan" Barbadian, I've even heard "Barbajan"
Lets not forget that I'm US born and raised. Only moved here 20+ years ago. So In a sense I'm coming home.
So far I've heard great things about Atlanta, and other than driving through I don't plan on spending a lot...
MirsterMoon and others,
thanks for the info. To tell the truth for now I'm willing to give up sailing in order to make this move. Over the course of the last couple of years other things have become more important - hence the move. So this, for me is more about what it's like to live there...
