NM Sloop (Northern Michigan) class started in the 30's and actively raced today, in Harbor Springs MI. There are various americas cup, Volvo stars, collegiate all-american etc in the area the still sail these things. I've never sailed one but hope to.

Most of the donations come from individuals with a link to either the Navy or the Naval Academy itself.
I'd venture to say 'most' of the donations come from guys who have a high ordinary income tax obligation and / or a large capital-gains taxable event, that can be offset thru the donation...
not a bad program on the tint. I don't think there are many lighter-colored options like that.. I will do some research on Vivid, if it can go over VC and is a semi-hard paint it could work
my boat lives in the water full-time at least for now, id love a pretty white bottom but..... they...
I've got a hard paint similar to VC-17, basically a euro version of VC and I cant recall the name.
I'd like to re-coat with VC17 but I dont want blue-red-"almost black" color that they call "original."
Is there a lighter grey anti foul race paint that is OK ?
What about that...
many replies above involve a lot of subjectivity and 'looks about right', and this is not good enough.
Particularly if you are racing in a one design fleet or well developed class of boats it is absolutely crucial to have repeatable settings in different wind conditions. Most of us are just...
I have a couple of LOOS RT-10 gauges that we used w/ the Farr 40 it's big enough for sure.
I have two of those, was gonna eBay them post-season, but PM me if you have interest in those
my daughters' vid of this years race on TP 52 usual suspects, see special appearance by PitBull @ 00:41.
storm was more fun in the video than it was offshore

is it really that hard to believe ? the delivery crew has some explaining to do
its gonna get interesting
hope I don’t get in trouble for posting but hey the thing is out in the open…
she looks nearly race-ready to me :-)
delivery main ready to roll, sheet on and go
why would that be, do you mean that you suppose they under-insured it for some reason ? doubt that. the savings in yearly premiums are very negligible to have a too-low declared value. maybe I don't understand the skepticism as something else
What a sad news story here-- that amazing thing was off to smash records and now this accident offshore-- truly sucks. Sorry for all involved

what reason would I have to fight PHRF ? I haven't even applied for a rating cert. yet.
My question was about LMSRF as an organization, not phrf, not sure how they interact
what are the reasons YOU are a member of LMSRF ?
Paid my dues for years, I do get some super long email blurbs from them but most of it seems unrelated to me.
Nearly certain there's something in there and I understand it's not expensive, i'm just asking myself what the benefits are aside from...
