It looks like the value of my (2016) boat increased significantly; apparently, I am sailing both a Laser and an ILCA (with all the plaques).
Makes my head spin...
Something fun to do for Masters (with disposable funds)

with 61 and 75 participants, respectively
Gouv,
It's my, perhaps naïve, understanding that ILCA would just change its name (to get rid of the trademarked 'Laser'). Would that be 'unconstitutional'?
Paragraph 17 of the ILCA constitution outlines a (cumbersome) process for amending the Constitution.
I also think (optimistically) that...
According to the very recent statement from LP/LPE, they did not allow ILCA to inspect because ILCA has not renewed the (Trademark) license agreement, due to expire August 31.
I quote:
LP has granted ILCA certain rights to use the Laser Trademark for its activities pursuant to an intellectual...
Those data show that the current output is roughly 2000 boats per year. With five days a week and 50 weeks a year (two weeks vacation), that's less than ten boats per day. Split over two current builders (Australia and Japan), it's easy to figure that here is more than enough 'reserve' capacity...
APS used to have a few Lasers and Sunfishes sitting on an outside rack. Eye candy for folks such as me, thinking about buying a boat. But that was several years ago.

Composite Laser uppers seem hard to get; not that I...
LP will have to defend itself in other ways as well:
The (One Person Dinghy) Olympic events will be reviewed according to World Sailing's Antitrust Policy.
In the aftermath, is the following correct?
1. LP will pay future royalties to GS
2. The royalties that were put in escrow by LP will be disbursed to GS
3. Kirby won't loose any sleep about keeping the 2 million from GS since he really did sell the kaboodle
4. Kirby stickers will become...
BK must regret the day he 'sold' whatever (he thought he had) to Global Sailing.
Did the money he presumably received burn a hole in his pocket by now?
Thanks Tiller Man for reminding me of what a great band Pink Floyd was.
But by now,
this thread has made me Comfortably Numb...
And,
will the Connecticut judge ever get to The Other Side Of The Moon?
