My boat XL2 is also for sale and like the ORMA 60 it is a very small market.... I'll have to discount it which is sad considering what I have into it but that's racing multis.... unless you live in France
100%
There are no reasons to enjoy a slow, heavy HD (Hardly Drivable) bike.... lol
I've had them and it's a scene..... Try BMW GS 1250 and it's like someone turning the light switch on.......... Thank F#ck we are all different..... Check out "Million Dollar Bogan" on youtube if you like...
I have the stability curve for my boat and a sail cross over chart..... (When to reef)
It's called experience and common sense........ which is clearly not common any more
I hate to say it but this has been very boring..... we need some serious breeze..... I really am surprised how similar these speeds are and no one can eek out an advantage in this wind strength
So you don't know him and based on this vague article he is a "Muppet"..?
All the article said was he didn't want a bar of talking to a reporter.... not that he wasn't grateful.... and after being involved in 2 high profile yacht mishaps myself where media sensationalized it, I don't blame him...
my boards were fully up as we were running with a kite.... Yes the new bows would have saved me as we teetered on the edge.... my capsize is simply pushing too hard with too much sail.
Any boat designed to have boards down when sailing upwind will suffer bad VMG if you lift a board... makes no...
My mate bought Maserati V70 from Giovanni Soldini. The boat was largely powered by Solar (Solbian brand which Gio is involved with) there are no air gaps and i have seen many modern panels mounted the same.... is this a problem....?
Steering is a big consideration here clearly.... I love the...
Wow.....Am I missing something here, seriously....... I challenge this theory of boards up to increase side slip to prevent a capsize...it makes no sense to use boards differently to what they were designed for........ happy to discuss.

If the cat has boards it's more performance...
Send me a pic please

I used to campaign a Crowther Katana racer / cruiser (Simply the Best) We would weigh everything coming on and then take everything off the boat every year. It is...
I completely agree.... the extra prodder if hit, can damage the the front beam and seagull striker as well.... It makes no sense other than space in a marina
Another boat always left out is this https://maxcruisemarine.com/
Max 44.... this thing is good
Not sure what materials the build is...
Zips are great... very easy.... just have a handful of spare zipper cars
Upwind zero is our most used sail as it backs up as a heavy air downwind sail
We rarely use a kite unless under 8 knots and we rarely sail dead down wind but we have it ready
A great example of a very quick cruiser racer.... awesome boat and it seems to sail well up wind in the light without an up wind zero......
I noticed you wool the tack on your kite. Interestingly here in Australia they banned wooling so now we use zips
