12 months ago today.... sunrise from mi casa in north east Victoria, 'Straya..... bushfires then were maybe 90 miles away at a guess..... it got worse..

Well... I have not seen the sea in 10 months.... but you can see the reflection of a dam in this shot... mid lower right... And what makes it truly noteworthy... a contrail!!! First one in weeks and I live under what was the 2nd busiest air corridor in the  world (Melb/Syd/Melb)... 50,000...

Another sunrise... Volcan Corcovado. March 2006  30 days before my 60th birthday.. the day after I gave my employers 30 days notice ( a date line thing) that I was retiring. I rather like the shadow being cast... presumably on water vapour above those clouds...
