Late local artist, Ludlow Thorsten. He wasn’t a sailor and he usually had the boom hard to windward in his artwork. I was pleasantly surprised to see this proper representation of sailboats.

That’s how you rig powerful trimarans, so yeah, you might be right. Plus, it saves you from worrying about broken swages.
