Good luck, Jules, and enjoy the adventure. I remember living through a hurricane on the E Coast as a kid and my Mom cooking meals in the fireplace for a few days. I was young enough I thought that was cool.

I always planned to use our boat as our emergency survival plan in the event of a devastating earthquake although lately I’ve taken to keeping the water and fuel tanks filled with just the minimum. Maybe we ought to go back to keeping them all topped up. Hmmm….
