    89er

Julian, I'm considering using EVA on a new build. What prep for the deck would be best. The construction is plywood-epoxy-fiberglass. Would I need to prime and paint first or can I go directly over the epoxy finish after peel ply is removed. I realize that water ways would need primer and paint.

    Bamboo Cloth

I'm wondering if any of the SA fabricators have any firsthand experience using bamboo cloth in lieu of fiberglass as a sheathing material with epoxy. It's a renewable product and all.

Doug, Intended use would not include 1-2 week outings, As to conditions under which it would be operated in, I currently sail out of Ventura and it would be nice/fun to be able to sail out of these ports. Local conditions can vary through out the year so the ability to handle some weather would...

    Life after a 45er

Well, it appears that my lovely 45er will have found a new custodian. So, what’s next? Here are my thoughts; 18-22 feet, trailer ramp launchable, small cabin with 2 bunks, porta potty, ice chest, single burner (jet boil), light weight rig (possibly carbon) that is easy/fast to set up, ability to...
