The Titans are OK for lightly loaded lines, but while I have never broken one the amount of twist they develop when heavily loaded is off-putting. And as for the floating bit, it just distracts the helmsman while he decides not to turn around!

And here was me thinking I just had to wind it round & round! Older maxi class yachts had some pretty big loads.

Used the Titan handles on a boat they sponsored,  things did work but were far from comforting to use when they would bend/twist, enough that the handle was at about 20 degrees to the vertical,  and that was just the single handles,  the doubles!
