On our boat's bow-union, we have breaks, our own beer supply, etc. We were on Yellow, had no generals (for our class; there were Individual Recalls, but our boat was always clear), and we went on to win 7 of 8 starts (one race abandoned) and the regatta. Your bitching sounds like operator error.

Last I checked, general recalls occur when most of the fleet is over the line early. Maybe your classes shouldn't have sucked so much, and you could have bowfolks, better starting techniques, etc. Sure, go ahead and blame the race committee (the dudes on Yellow were less than stellar), but for...
