It is very unlikely it will ever be back in NZ. The team is now just a bunch of pro's, the event is all about money and trying to be a self sustaining event with no particular country ties. Apart from the Italians and the Poms. Hopefully one of them will win it.

Reaching a new audience is a noble aim. To compare what is planned to DtS is beyond dreaming. One has an activity most can understand, 20 odd muliti day events every year. Races that, unless there is torrential rain, start on time. One driver that is the face of the team to love, hate or not...

F1 has around 20 races per year to enable people to see the DtS show, get interested and watch the real thing. The AC has to get people interested in something that is over a year out, then is done and dusted in a month. Plus most people understand the basics of driving, so it is easy to feel a...
