There's no con, it's just a stupidly popular boat. If the Laser really were a 'crap boat', then really, there would be no fuss... we, the boat buying public, would have dumped it years ago.

hardly- one of the criticisms of Kirby is that there hasn't been a physical sale of a Kirby Torch yet, so anyone wanting one... even on protest for local sailing... can't buy one. This picture shows how easy that criticism can (and maybe soon, will) be addressed.
