While there is nothing wrong with deterioration, the electorate should elevate much younger politicians. This current “oldigharchy” is pathetic. The whole crowd is pathetic. Both parties, Bernie too, need to get out of the way. Quietly mentoring from the shadows. 

Corporations are people. It is so unfair that corporations can pay politicians yet not be allowed to vote. Any why cannot the deceased vote thru their living trusts? The trust pays taxes,too.

Indeed it is. Most of the Military-Industrial Complex is just that. Too bad the jobs produce nothing that benefits society like building roads or hospitals, or hiring more teachers, etc. would. Crap like the F-35 does not even have much trickle-down tech that might help the economy, unlike say NASA.
