I get an occasional promotional email from Quaker Marine Supply, and the most recent was about a painter, Cappy Amundson, who is featured in their blog. Here is a sample, which I think is really lovely:
Mrs. Bull and I went to Nova Scotia several years ago, and spent some time wandering the beautiful coastline, including this spot, Prospect (I think) not far from Peggy's Cove.
This shows a pale forehead, which probably would have been common, given knit caps and no sunscreen.
I also wonder if this was one of those sailboats with vast deck areas and two wheels.
