I hope some locals repurpose it with a 1997 Yamaha 30hp on a timber central pod with the worlds ugliest shade / canopy & it lives forever as GB's black sheep.
Flame me but I think the design is fine. It's the rig falling that caused the issues. Mono or multi, carbon rig or tin, most boats will get holes in them when the rig comes down in that kind if sea state.
Lost my post when I went to edit it I think?
Clean there's nothing wrong with being a Journo. I think your stories are great & as balanced as any mainstream media. So wrestle with the label a bit longer but you'll come to accept it :-)
Its not like you'd be bleeding the injectors or clearing the strainer in a mono in the sane conditions that would forbid you to open the hatch on a GB.
& they have two engines, so you're unlikely to have to tend to a broken one to keep pumps / comms going in a storm.
Not only that, but how many people have checked out of the thread & won't be back to hear the true / clean's polished, cleansed & GB friendly story :-)
Everyone is safe so I'd say the ACTUAL first rule of being the skipper has been satisfied.
Pretty sure gunboat owners listen to gunboat appointed captains. It's the wannabe rich guy owners who cause problems.
