Scanas if your refering to all the yellow poles along the beaches those belong to ParksVic to keep powerboats and jet skis away from swimmers  inside the poles they can only do 6 knots back to the beach

1110 pm Just watched Mapfre go past Point Lonsdale,  3 ebb tide didnt seem to slow her down at all guestimate 3-4 knots of outgoing flow. Wind was 16 knots gust to 20 knots  from the south via the dial at the lighthouse.Other that can only tell you their nav lights work lol  Dark night down here

Can any body in oz give me any info on the skiff class called Formula Fifteens? Are they competitive interclass Eg do they sail to their yardstick rating ?? Do they have a weak wind range? Are the older boats still as competitive against the new boats? Any info would be helpful .
