Mi sembra importantissimo il riferimento alla stabilità: diamo per scontato che un foil più piccolo sia più veloce, ma se poi ha bisogno di continue correzioni il vantaggio si perde. Per questo la velocità massima può risultare anche più elevata, ma se poi è difficile raggiungerla o mantenerla...

On Instagram Ambrogio Beccaria, Mini Transat winner and dominator of the class, has made a simulation, and projects a Maitre Coq win; 2 Sea Explorer 1.35 h; 3 Apivia 2.40h; 4 Bureau Valle 3.40 h. Very close between those four, the others further back.

Sadly L'Occitane never got the chance to sail in the same weather system of the leading boats; seems to me it would have been faster. Of course speed is not the only factor, as this edition of the VG is clearly showing. But I would have loved to see Armel racing neck & neck with the leaders

L’Occitane has regained its pace. Let’s  see if it  gets back in the game. Lot of miles lost, but the race is long 

Sirena says (in italian) "Oggi non sono impressionato. Non sono tornato a casa choccato, insomma, dopo averle viste" that means: "Today I'm not impressed. I mean, I didn't go home shocked after seeing those (opponents B2s)". That sounds much less arrogant.
