Melges 20 trailer load capacity?
Go race an event in Miami and you'll be up to speed in a weekend. You could pick Keiran's brain and talk to a couple sailmakers likely and they could show you the tips and tricks of the boat. My 20 just hit the road to Miami an hour ago and I'm planning to race it for either the Feb or March event.- WCB

You're near the shop that makes the trailers and you could get a new axle from them at the exact same spec. That said, I bought mine from a trailer place in Texas and they were great. You measure the current trailer and you can get torsion axles just like the original ones. I have a new torsion...- WCB

I imagine it's 2200. I am only going off of a recent conversation with the trailer maker. I was looking at a new axle for my Melges 24 trailer and they said no more than 3500lbs if memory serves. Nice and soft. Some friends replaced their axle with one at 7200lbs and he shuddered. He told me to...- WCB
