Raised flooring for deep forward sail locker

Have you stacked those for a few layers - cut to size? Issue I'm having is the drain hole has a brass 90 on the other side of bulkhead to get hose around the bow thruster. That is letting a few inches of water stand in the sail locker. May have to re-plumb drain line.

Raised flooring for deep forward sail locker

Forward deep V bow sail locker. Anyone come up with an idea for a false or floating floor to keep sails and gear off the bottom of the sail locker? Would have to be rigid and cut to size by using a template. Thanks for helping me brainstorm! RLB

Same MMSI for Boat and VHF Handhelds?

It will be heavy, but will use rollers and a block and tackle to ”pull” the dingy into the dingy...

Lead Acid vs. Lithium- New Build

Question - New build. We have the option to install lithium batteries instead of typical marine batteries. Boat is 50', 1 refrigerator,1 freezer, 2 electric toilets, full compliment of B&G Electronics, water maker. Does it make sense?
