Unfortunately the ProStart Classic is not something we can repair. That product was manufactured in an overseas factory and we no longer have an inventory of spare parts required to repair it.

Yes! The bar graph shift tracking still works and it is still magnetic compass based if COG is selected for the direction output.
The bar graph (Heel or Shift) and direction output (COG or Magnetic Heading) are configured independently.

Thanks for your question. There are a few options for mounting a ProStart on a J70 mast. Unfortunately most of the J70 specific options I'm familiar with are from North American suppliers.
You can mount our Mast Bracket on the J70 mast using the supplied fasteners by drilling...
One additional note on the ProStart shift tracking, you can manually set the reference angle by pressing the RESET button while the ProStart is in Race Mode.
