That's streaming and video chatting clogging up the bandwidth. But it's summer. There's no school, for most. Do you mean in the past, before school got out? Or do you mean now?

I've always thought I'd have to have some sort of integrated router that could route traffic and data over the three-way of local Cell service, local Wifi, and something like Starlink. The router would fall down in roughly that order and then cascade back up if a faster link became robust again...

You dropped a WebEx 3 times because 1mpb wasn't sustainable? Wow. Wonder if it's time-of-day or satellite density issues at those moments or just that much de-prioritized data flow and you're near the bottom of the pack. You*do* have to have a newer phone. But you do not need a 'Made for Fi' phone. A Galaxy S7 is..... quite old, sadly, as Samsung currently sells an S22. That means your phone is 15 generations behind the latest tech. Mind you, this is a thread about Starlink, which is pretty 'far out there tech'...

Hi all, I registered to respond to this post. I am a tech professional, and have both T-Mobile and GoogleFi service, and am on the waitlist for a Starlink device. Google has its own mobile phone service called GoogleFi (fi.google.com). It started life as an internal skunkworks project...
