    Then a couple of blokes appeared over the side looking down at the foil arm - maybe it didn't come back up in time to complete the move? Soon after there were people standing all over the place and they started to pack up - check the foiling kitesurfer off the stern having a chat in the last...

    Then dropped the other foil and started a maneuver before getting the nose pretty high and eventually falling gracefully down into displacement mode:

    I arrived in St Heliers around midday to see ETNZ parked up near Rangi without a headsail. Soon after they had one up and started moving towards me:

    No sailing pics today as I'm on the wrong side of the bridge, all the action is out off the East Coast Bays. And then I had to head home to work before AM left the dock.

    ETNZ just towed out past me and have gone around North Head and up past Rangi lighthouse. So no sailing photos from me today.    Hoping AM sail out like they usually do. Stunner of a morning here in Auckland.

    And briefly got back out of the water before slowing down, hitting the water and coming to a stop with everyone looking at the sails. They soon pulled the sails and went home.

    Well that was a quick morning. Defiant came foiling out of the inner harbour looking pretty good until it went through its first maneuver

    Not the greatest shots as they never that close and it was a pretty grey morning but good to see AM out there again. They did a few laps of the East course between Browns and Rangi and most of it looked pretty well handled. Wind was 10-15 knots.
