anyone see the footage from the huge bulk carrier pushing into it yesterday behind the eye? they looked to be sitting fairly deep in the water with waves coming over the bow in close to whiteout conditions. Can't find the vid yet...was on Ch 7 ugerlee seastate worth a look. waves were more...- Evo

yep...still thinking it's Innisfail and just south that will see the eye. thing has slowed dramatically on it's approach...is there hope it may slow enough for a lower tide? or does that just make it worse? is that weather station anywhere near Dent Passage or on top of the hill maybe?- Evo

blowing 58 gusting to 75....wow...that must be some rescue they are pulling off there. army chopper? just a thought...could they have dropped in on them as the eye went through?? new obs up to 0700 so i guess it's still working- Evo
