    Agreed, but past shutdowns have made a mess of cash flow for contractors. I'm not worried about getting paid so much as being able to pay everyone else without creating a bottleneck.

    Everybody is trying to get as much invoicing into the fed systems and drawn down as possible right now. It would be interesting to see how much more activity the ASAP system is getting this week compared to others. The US exports inflation without needing to "print" other currencies just fine.
