    Exactly, why would I take them to a place that I think is dangerous? (I'm a baptized catholic, confirmed methodist, wandered in the wilderness Joseph Campbell-style kinda guy - who realized none of that makes any sense. Call me a humanist if you must put a label on me.)

    BTW, I truly do feel that my kids (older now) are safer in a drag show than in a church. I've taken them to drag shows and the Castro street fair, but never, by choice, a church. Weddings are about it. But that's a personal opinion as to what I think the real dangers of life are.
