Also, ours never ran away more than 100 yards or so. I did have a Hobie go a few miles once. It was a long swim in. :)

Off for me. I think. Far from good at this.  And we went to a soft shackle on the outhaul which I like A LOT. 

And working a broken batten out sucks. Get a drink and wiggle wiggle wiggle. Getting stuff on the sides didn’t work for me. Be grateful it’s a short batten. I broke the end of my like 7’ Johnson 18 full batten off and it took me i think 3 hours total to get it out.

Cool! I think it'd be better to take down the old "New UFO Owners tips" so we just have one place. I made that other one and I'm sure anything is better. Is there a way it can be editable? If you want me to delete the old one, just let me know when you've harvested anything useful.

Has anyone figured out if we can use a loos gauge for tuning? If not is it the 2-5mm spin lock gauge thats needed?

Cool stuff. Hearing you guys talk about tension, we have loose gauges. Will they work or do I need to spend the $ on a spinlock? Also anyone storing their boat mast and boom up or everyone taking it apart? 

Now that’s the idea I’m looking for.  And I sure don’t thing/I hope nobody thought you meant holding on thousands of dollars of foils with package tape friction...

What am I supposed to do with my bucket of lard then?  JK.  And seriously though, I know the rudder and foil need the big washer but still wish there was a way to hold the foil on the strut for install. Oh well.
