    Vendee Globe 2016?

Clean, thanks for the video. That was great and even saw a friend in your video. Looks damn cold but the excitement of the crowd makes it tolerable I am sure. It is on the list of must do's in 4 years time and the wife agrees! Haji, thanks for all of your insights on this forum as you are truly...

    Vendee Globe 2016?

Reminds me a bit of Yves Parlier in 2000 fabricating a new mast over the course of something like a week before setting sail again. Good to hear the race still has all its competitors one week after the start

    Vendee Globe 2016?

The interview and tour with Seb Josse was great. The amount of effort towards customization is impressive. Moving nearly a ton for each tack is quite the effort. Does anyone know if there are other extended interviews that showcase the layout in such detail as the Seb Josse video?

    Merle Haggard DTS

Merle has been a longtime favorite. My wife and I saw him perform in Bakersfield about 10 years ago and then, most recently, in Marin County last Fall. He seemed frail but gave the sold out audience a show I will remember. A true original music outlaw, not something manufactured by the...

Later today it looks like MWD in poised to confirm a vote on a 15% reduction (maybe more?) to all of the local SoCal water agencies that depend on MWD for water distributions.

The Best Shorts and Why? Weigh in people. YOU* are the experts

Yes, the CLEWGEAR shorts were well built. They were made in the USA and nearly indestructible. They had features long before any of the other companies (before some of the current crop of companies even existed). Maybe we'll bring back CLEWGEAR. Still have a pair of CLEWGEAR shorts for sailing...

Is the 62 really going to end up as a 45?

So does this mean the marketplace for AC45s may have just opened up? If so, then Spooner would seem to gain here since he's had Oracle's 45 seized by US Marshalls. Spooner most likely is pretty happy with this development, yes?
