Defi Azimut Race & Speed Runs

What is quite heartening is the relative positions of the "new" boats, not yet fully bedded in/optimised, I would guess. Charal, Holcim, V&B Monbana and Initiatives Coeur to name but four- all launched relatively recently. It will be very interesting, once he launches his new boat, to see how...

    Solitaire du Figaro 2022

That looks like a very good gamble this morning by the few boats going east of the TSS. Shake-up of the leaderboard. Can the Toms fight back?

    Sevenstar Round Britain & Ireland

Palanad decided to give up the race as it was taking too long.. I guess the settled high which has been dogging the fleet has extended the time window significantly. They are already 4 days in (record is less than this for the whole race in fast boats and just over 8 days for "normal" (under...

    All things minitransat.

Looks like the northern boats got stuck in the same nasty trench that the Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland are stuck in, further north. Seems to have developed rather more than initially forecast.

He's done pretty well in class40 and not a bad showing in the last VG even with an older boat. His sponsors clearly like what he's doing as they've been supporting him for years. Up and coming? I'm really looking forward to seeing how he does in a custom built boat. May be one to watch...
