Need a spotter on the ETNZ / RNZYS boat to see where the RYS bodies are.

They are all around 2 to 5 knots around the north shore

I am a bit confused. Report up the thread of 14 knots at Bean Rock (which I think is under North Head?).  But on the course above comment says no wind.  Updates please if anyone is on or near the course.

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

However it goes today I just pray that Ken Read will not keep wittering away during the race. 90% of the time we just need the feed from the boats with the occasional observation from.the helicopter and the camera boat on the wind conditions.  Please Ken, just bottle it up if you have nothing...

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

Are you out on the course. PredictWind only saying nine knots which is pretty painful with the boats tiptoeing around through manoeuvres to avoid the deadly fall off the foils.

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

Only way to port tack would be to take the stern.  Might work if you thought the right side of the beat would be better.  You would never risk a port tack across the bow of a starboard yacht in Match racing.  A good stern pass might mean you would only be a boat length behind at the gun, not...

Well there was an 8 to three score line in SF.

I think we all appreciate the insights to the AC36 that you have added.  In general there has been limited interesting commentary outside of the official line. RG has been a bit quiet,  Matt Sheehan has his moments. The Italian Duo have been quieter than expected.

I think the Great One, IM, offered it if the two teams agreed. But no take up apparently.

And to be able to race in practically no wind is amazing. Can you imagine how slow and painful it would be in the old monohulls in nine knots.

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

Just a bit more forecast tomorrow and a little more Monday. Tuesday, if we get that far pressure down again!

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

It would be great if they can stretch it out till we see some real wind. The boats really fly then.

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

They almost fell off in the prestart second race yesterday but squeaked it. Exactly the same today and they didn't. Just not good enough PB.

He could even show what his boat is capable of in a breeze as the wind is up next weekend.  Plus all those kiwi traders around the Viaduct can get some of the money back they lost under Level 2 and 3. Could we get a SalingAnarchy crowdfunding to get put up a prize fund?

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

The INEOS Cup would be quite a coup next weekend. Fleet race.  Come on Sir Jim, front up please. We would all start being kind and gentle with you and your slow boat, no more Mr Fracker!  I am just worried about withdrawal symptoms as it could be at least a year or two till we see the AC75's...

AC36: The Match (6-15th March. Reserve days to the 21st)

No real wind test till at least Wednesday. Unless there are any postponements it will be all over by then. I think the way it is going we will never see the boats race in anger in strong winds which will be a real shame. A 20 knot TWS match race would be spectacular and we will probably never...
