I am a bit confused. Report up the thread of 14 knots at Bean Rock (which I think is under North Head?).
But on the course above comment says no wind.

However it goes today I just pray that Ken Read will not keep wittering away during the race. 90% of the time we just need the feed from the boats with the occasional observation from.the helicopter and the camera boat on the wind conditions.

Only way to port tack would be to take the stern. Might work if you thought the right side of the beat would be better.
You would never risk a port tack across the bow of a starboard yacht in Match racing.
A good stern pass might mean you would only be a boat length behind at the gun, not...

In general there has been limited interesting commentary outside of the official line. RG has been a bit quiet, Matt Sheehan has his moments. The Italian Duo have been quieter than expected.
He could even show what his boat is capable of in a breeze as the wind is up next weekend.
Plus all those kiwi traders around the Viaduct can get some of the money back they lost under Level 2 and 3.

No real wind test till at least Wednesday. Unless there are any postponements it will be all over by then.
I think the way it is going we will never see the boats race in anger in strong winds which will be a real shame.
A 20 knot TWS match race would be spectacular and we will probably never...
