    E37 T-track toe-rail removal

Might be worth a shot with a hammer style impact as well. Sometimes the downward impact really helps, and you might get less stripping of heads.

Troubleshooting Surging Voltage when Charging - Balmar & Mastervolt System

Thanks - I will triple check the alt regulator wiring, and test connections on field and voltage sense wires. That could be the issue. BTW, I have already replaced the alt-regulator with a new one. Same issue with both.

Nexus Instruments no longer seeing Multi XL after system reinitialization * Magnet

Thank you!!! I was on my phone trying to download the manuals and the link doesn't work from a phone. With your help I will give it another shot tomorrow. I really hope this is the fix. Interesting that my displays show something totally different than the manual. Maybe they aren't dead. Every...

    Sharpest hull colour scheme

I think it really depends on the lines of the boat. Colors and details make a huge difference on the perception of proportions.

    Mark Mills foiler in action

I agree after watching the video. I went into the video psyched, and left not impressed. Other than “wow, I’m going fast” it doesn’t look very enjoyable. The engine noise was terrible. I sail because I enjoy it…

    Carbon/foam pre-purchase survey: thermal imaging?

For better or worse, we didn’t do any thermal. A very thorough standard survey was hopefully enough. It felt like it could be a crap shoot to really understand what we were learning, and was going to be 10% of purchase price. Time will tell if that was the right or wrong decision.

    B&G Vulcan being replaced soon?

Like many others, I’m slowly phasing out my Nexus instruments in place of B&G. I also need to replace our chart plotter, and the Vulcan 9” is perfect for our limited needs. They are now on sale at $899, but I’m wondering if it is worth waiting and getting a newer unit next year. Is the...

105% Jib Sheeting Angle - 8.5 or 11.5 degree sheeting angle

Thank you for the great info! I’m considering going the exact same route as you are as far as a test sail to see what we think. Could go Dacron, or a j/105 jib is very close, and might work for testing. Would love to see if you have a Picture of the deck layout.
