Hell, the chairman of the J6 committee objected to certifying the 2016 election.
Lie.
Hell, the chairman of the J6 committee objected to certifying the 2016 election.
The poll directly supports my quote. It's not the poll. It's the editorializing done by the "news" site. The bias is clear. You're just cool with that particular bias.
To illustrate - Did the Monmouth poll claim the Committee "flunked"?
Damn, I missed Bennie Thompson inciting an armed crowd to march on the Capitol to 'stop the steal'? Don't compare the two parties. Does explain why Dr. Oz is so popular with Republicans, they believe he will give them all brains! Both parties have members who refuse to accept election results. Hell, the chairman of the J6 committee objected to certifying the 2016 election.
You didn't answer the question, as usual. The poll directly supports my quote.
You completely misunderstand (or deliberately misstate) the purpose the Jan 6 committee - which is fact-finding and legislation recommendations to avoid such a shit-show in the future. The J6 committee basically came up empty wrt their unstated purpose which is to find evidence that would get Trump convicted and disqualified. They know they don't have a legal case, so they went for the next best thing. They would try Trump in the court of public opinion in a forum where inconveniences like “rules of evidence” and a “right to a defense” wouldn't get in the way.
Hence the TV show. They went through the testimony selecting what fit their purpose and rejecting what did not. Even including hearsay testimony about an alleged assault and attempted carjacking that would never be in admissible in a real trial. They hired a professional producer and composed a script and pretended that what they were airing was a hearing. It was not a hearing nor was it a report. It was something totally new a kind of politically motivated docudrama but missing the “based on a true story” disclaimer. It was yet another example of our own government meddling in the political process.
What they should have done is collected the evidence decided on recommendations, written a report and submitted it to congress without all the theatrics.
Sorry....It was Jamie Raskin.Lie.
You asked if the poll supported something I never asserted so it wasn't worthy of a response. You didn't answer the question, as usual.
Then again, you didn't do you normal schtick and pose one of your own.
I both understand and agree with you on that. You completely misunderstand (or deliberately misstate) the purpose the Jan 6 committee - which is fact-finding and legislation recommendations to avoid such a shit-show in the future.
If it's shown on TV, then...No. TV show does not equal hearing.
Lie.Sorry....It was Jamie Raskin.
Personally, I only passively tell lies. I'm too lazy to riot and I'm not ambitious enough to make more money. And in todays whataboutism, Dog compares a Congressional member’s parliamentary vote to actively spreading lies, organizing fake electors, encouraging a riot and raising money on false claims of election fraud.
And he’s comparing those who oppose such systematic lies and assaults on democracy and the peaceful transfer of power to fascists and autocrats.
