$10K for destroyed boat

I've seen some goofy sellers but this one's gotta take the cake. A large catamoron only suitable for burning, with a crush hull and all for $10K. Hell fella. If it were in perfect working order it would be worth $1000. Maybe. Do I hear a bid?

Almost a Catamaran

A tree fell on my Macgregor 36 Catamaran. One hull in intact, but the other is a mess. It might be repairable, but I'm 72 and not in the mood

I know they didn't build many of those big catamarans, but it would be more than a day's work to install all the hardware on just one!

Heh. I spent 3 days at Pacific Rigging masking a MacGregor catamaran for paint, the owner wanted to get some very 70s-looking stripes sprayed on it. Surprisingly hard to get all 4 sides to look right, the hulls were nowhere near the same shape. And when all done, came away knowing that no matter what colors and stripes they put on it, it was just never going to look good....

The seller is a long-time member here. Price could be a typo, because in 2017 he wrote that a sailing (but somewhat beat) version was worth about $10k. The mast is worth something non-trivial to the right person.
