End for endEnd for end or dip pole? Very different options for each.
I’ve always been a fan of thin Dynema with simple overhand knots tied about every six inches. The knots make it grippy enough, low weight, low windage. I’ve done it that way for twenty years with no regrets.End for end
So you just use the one trip line, makes some sense, what size pole and boat are you on? Thanks for the feedback.I use uncovered dyneema with a locked splice on one end, then on the other end I do a simple bury for a foot or so, tension the line enough that it’s easy to grab in my palm and twist to open both jaws, then I take the tail out of the bury and snake it back and forth through the line just to tidy it up but leave the tail easy to access for re-tensioning.
