Too much water needed for this part of the East Coast, but it’s a great looking build.
Yeah I don't understand why the resistance to making boats actually useful in places where shore line isn't a cliff.

Especially a smaller boat that is intended from the beginning to ride around on a trailer.

Oh well

I guess it’s like designing a shallow draft centerboarder for for the PNW when you are an East Coast designer.
Well, yeah...... but the fact is, there is shallow water everywhere around the coast. Some places, it's so shallow that the land actually sticks out above the water!

But if we're being all practical n'shit, we wouldn't want to have fucking sailboats in the first place......

The little boat is about to move back into the shed to be completed.

Been thinking about foils . . .

Jim, what does it draw and are there plans drawn for the keel and rudder? My Fareast28R is a little too big and the 5 1/2’ draft is a little steep for the Barnegat Bay. It wouldn’t be for a light, easy to launch 20’er

Can we get it stuffed in a container on an angle for a trip East? It can’t cost too much to ship... $$$

PM me a number you are dreaming of and I’ll see if it’s good. Can’t let the boat sit

I wish I wasn't stretched with new motors for my center console and a half dozen small sailboat projects.  I'm in the middle of fixing a friend's Farr 30 in preparation for this Summer and it's given me the bug for a fun sport boat of my own.

I messaged Jim a few days ago wondering the same.  I am quietly hoping that we can bring it to Utah in a fleet of sportboats that is growing.
