Nope. Try Brave browser, all ads will go away. Based on Chrome, works the same.
Opera works too. Every "upgrade" is a serious downer.
At some point they will reach the level where people will vote with their feet, and I don't think it's far away. I know some have already said "fuckit".

My Firefox ad blocker must have been eliminated somehow. weird
They seem to have a workaround with Firefox. I run Adblock Plus and Ghostery and still see ads here. Firefox has been acting kinda weird on a few sites lately, so I'm giving Brave and Opera another go. Both eliminate ads and trackers entirely, so the formatting here gets a little weird.

Cheap fucks.

First time I have heard of that crap, actually.

But still, no.

The new owners of this place are the worst, most incompetent bottom feeders I have ever encountered in the world of small scale monetisation of internet or community services.

It'll be kind of sad to see SA shut down, but the way these clowns are managing it, it won't take too long.

[. <- still no white space, suckers!]

uBlock Origin still works on FF, and Firefox Focus is a standalone browser option.

Picking the losing side of an arms race is a terrible revenue model.

Thanks all it seems my firefox updated and they removed the Adblock plugins though on my laptop using chrome the ads showed up there too after months of just blank space which was also annoying.

Same here. They made a deal I guess. As if sucking my soul out of my online patterns isn’t enough.

I never see ads with Brave, haven't seen an ad in over a year...
