Great regatta. Finished the series with a 1, 2. Not enough to move us onto the podium but at least gave us a chance. PYC did a great job running the regatta. I highly recomend having them host your event. Congratulations to Jim Pearson and crew for a well sailed win.

We spent the weekend dinghy cruising in the area and saw you guys out there. Never got very close though. Looked like a good time if a bit light.

Junta,

What sail number were you rockin'? Clearly not your usual sail number as you're not in any of the pics.

I chartered 159 and avoided the 30 hr drive. Definitely the way to go. Thanks to Don Corey the Godfather of the U20 for letting me charter one of his boats. Lots of fun with 21 boats on the line.

Those are missing the last race. We got in one race on Sunday. I don't think the standings changed in the top half of the fleet. Results should be posted shortly.

Surprised you guys let Tac sail the Nationals still?

Make sure you protest his stupid shit he pulls on the race course! And don't hesitate or he will have it tossed on the technicality of not raising the flag fast enough. He doesn't man up and do whats right when it comes to fouling people.

Looks like a great time awesome weather!

He co owns a boat and is a member of the class. Why shouldn't have the right to sail?

It was a great time. Everyone sailed hard and fair, you should not have sold your boat and been there.

No time these days got out twice this year for about an hour each time on the big boat with the 3yr old. I did crew and help a local U20 owner get up to speed and see a pretty big gain in his local standings so that was fun.

Tac may be a co-owner but as a pro he should be held to a higher level of water skill and rules enforcement. I was shocked and and not impressed by his lack of skill on the race course when it came to following the rules. Christ even his brother called him a dumb ass for the stunt I saw him pull.

I don't mind pro's sailing in OD fleets but when they start pissing off customers and being jerks on the water its time for them to move on. For the weekend sailor who gets to do a Nationals every few years to get hosed by a pro doing multiple nationals in multiple fleets a year and sails for a living to work over people fouling them and playing games is complete BS!

Just saying...........

I do miss the U20 fun but do not miss sharing the water with the pros who like to win even if it means pushing the rules. Glaser had my respect given when they fouled us during a NA's they did their turns and admitted the mistake when called on it. Had lots of fun racing against them for many years. My experience with the Boston crew hasn't been the same though Brad is far more diplomatic and more fun to race against than Tac. I will say that.
