i went for a ride past woolwich dock (where WOXI is) and they had a spinnaker covering the back half of the boat and lots of noises where coming from there. maybe they are doing some serious mods for the next race? they will have more competition.

What is the forecast !!!

At the moment there is a bit of a cold front over the Middle East so I reckon the start of the race will be quite windy but it'll feather out towards the end for the front runners.

They are carrying out some very important work to the stern section , major structural reinforcing to carry more cameras and large side shields to ensure the viewer sees wild oats and wild oats only at the start of the sydney to Hobart race and to safe guard no other yacht can be seen by the home viewer.

I do find it most annoying when the other yachts interfere with my viewing of the Wild Oats Sydney to Hobart Race. The CYCA should thinking about banning anything under 100 feet. So uninteresting.
