2015 Moth AUS & World Championships (Jan 6th to 16th)

Not long until the start of another Moth World championship, this time held at Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club on Port Phillip Bay about and hour and a half south of Melbourne Australia.

Entries have opened and accommodation options are posted here on the event website: http://www.mothworlds.org/sorrento/

Can Nathan Outteridge back up the title win from Hayling?

There is rumored to be a good contingent of USA, Japanese, New Zealand, UK and European entrants coming plus a strong Australian home fleet.

We might even be graced (?) with Mr Clean's presence.

Any questions about the venue, accommodation, sailing conditions or the organising authority let me know, I'll answer as best as possible or refer you on as required.

Without jixing the event with it's not normally like this'', Sorrento usually gets a thermal seabreaze every afternoon at that time of year which is offshore from the venue at about 10 to 20 knots. Glammor location.

I've been getting fat too though

My "to-do" list is surprisingly short and, I fear, achievable.

Job 1 - Find a Mach 2 s/h at a fair price.............(yes, I don't mind paying a fair price but I cannot afford a new one!)

10-20 knot thermal breeze, sounds just like Hayling 'usually' is...

I think an Aussie summer sea breeze is a little different to whatever they get over there!

So who will be there?

BTW, there's probably a certain Sydney–sider who's pretty happy with the promo pic on the event web page.
