What an adventurous Hobart Race for our team.I got the new BBQ fired up on Boxing Day.Best mate had marinated a small Lamb.Bloody Mary’s X 4 on arrival.Pooled all our bets.Peking Duck brunch then countless beers and the best ever Lamb.Watched the start on Tele and found it quite informative.The rest of the day is a major blur.The pool got a run with no known casualties.The fuck up started the next morning when my company I was given the golden handshake from  called us up desperately due to Covid to come in with quadruple pay.Told them I probably wouldn’t pass the mandatory alcohol test due to the hammering the day and night before.Was convinced it wouldn’t be an issue.Blew the bag on arrival and did a personal best.Redline City.Got sent home in a Limo and assured I would still be paid.Most of the race bets were out the first night but still holding on Love and War.Would love to see the Sparkman and Stephen’s 34’s go well.The old Blondie from here is now Crux in the 2 Handed Class and I believe the Azzurro hull were also built here in the early 1980s.Would be great to see some battlers get up.Big thanks to everyone here for your informed and patient commentary.Despite the egos at the big end of town this race is iconic.

Sounds like a great party Rotto but Azzurra a "battler" I'm not sure about that.
