I see on the FP that Celestial is being Dismembered and remeasured.

How are they going to report the findings?

The results are posted.

Only Wharro could scheme that up. Like always though how do you start with a very slow 80 Footer and somehow turn it into a 100 that could match the other 100's.? Typically means on a limited budget what designer was used to draw these mods.? Yes extending the boat will make it faster but I doubt it will be on par with the skinny twins let alone LC. And as for Comanche don't even consider it.! So Australia gets another 100 footer..! Let's wait and see.?

I suspect that this has been discussed at great length elsewhere... But what is the advantages to cutting up an 80 footer (or any boat really) to make it 100? I assume time and potentially money? But still you are going to have a somewhat compromised boat and IF you are going to all the time and money to go to 100 foot wouldn't you be better off starting from scratch to have the boat with the least amount of compromises since the whole reason of going to 100 foot is to have THE fastest boat an line honours wins?

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG!!!!
Go and buy a good TP 52 and sail a boat you can do justice too! And afford!
Instead of trying to compete in a league that you cannot come close to affording!
This will end in another financial disaster as previously incurred.

Almost certainly faster than CQS.
And likely faster than Scallywag.
Potentially faster than the RPs on a reach. The frankenthing is gonna have a near scow bow.

But it all depends on the quality of the crap Wharro cobbles together to make it actually sail?
