Bitch, you are solidly out of bounds on this one. If it earns me a time out for calling you out, so be it.So you went to Iraq,
Misogynist abuse, 'cos you like defending war criminals as heroes. And all in one line!Bitch, you are solidly out of bounds on this one. If it earns me a time out for calling you out, so be it.
So you went to Iraq,
Take it to PA.Misogynist abuse, 'cos you like defending war criminals as heroes. And all in one line!
Thanks, @Ajax, for showing us again who you really are. Tho, to be honest, I did believe you first time.
Another charming perve.Fuck off.
And how about showing some tits?
There's nothing ill or disordered in suffering from post traumatic stress after experiencing fucked up shit. Just a normal reaction to abnormal circumstances. They told me I was ill with PTSD but I think otherwise.
Perhaps I should have been more formal:Another charming perve.
Welcome. Sailing is a great way to focus intently on something other than work or whatever. I bet it gives relief from PTSD.Sorry, but done a bit of Iraq etc and still finding my feet.
Hey perve, the dictionaries list "perve" with an 'e' as an alternate spelling, e.g. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/perv(And perv doesn't have the 'e' at the end.)
Yes, there is too much pathologisation of PTSD. It's an injury, and healing is possible. If not, adaptation is no shame. There's nothing ill or disordered in suffering from post traumatic stress after experiencing fucked up shit. Just a normal reaction to abnormal circumstances.
I agree with him, call me a bitch please.Bitch, you are solidly out of bounds on this one. If it earns me a time out for calling you out, so be it.
Real men don't go there. Most individual soldiers don't get to choose as to where they are sent. Once you enlist, it's "ok off to the sandbox next Tuesday".
As long as he didn't go around killing babies, molesting the goats and raping the women (uh none of that right?) then what he experienced in Iraq should be treated with some sympathy.
Our new member seems like he is a bit fucked up, but your political views should take a back seat.
richrock I hope you find some peace in your sailing adventures.
The UK and its predecessor states have invaded 90% of the countries on earth. If you sign up with those armed forces, you are signing up for invasions and overseas attacks. It's what they do, and what they are for. Most individual soldiers don't get to choose as to where they are sent. Once you enlist, it's "ok off to the sandbox next Tuesday".
Good lord, give it a rest, will ya.The UK and its predecessor states have invaded 90% of the countries on earth. If you sign up with those armed forces, you are signing up for invasions and overseas attacks. It's what they do, and what they are for.
If the history has somehow escaped you until you are all lined up and told "we're invading Some-stan", then you still have the opportunity to refuse the orders, and take the consequences. If you choose to stay with the criminal gang and to obey illegal orders, you are committing a war crime.
Principles 1 and 4 of the Nuremberg Principles apply, and are explicit about this:
Principle I: Any person who commits an act which constitutes a crime under international law is responsible therefor and liable to punishment.Principle IV: The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.
In this case, the crime was a War of Aggression, which the Nuremberg Tribunal described as "the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole".
This is not some sort of leftie wokie tofu-eating anti-western analysis, nor is it my "political views". These are the legal principles established by the USA and the UK after World War II. Go take your objections to Churchill & Roosevelt, who designed the framework that produced those principles.
Sorry, I don't buy that.It was 20 years ago and he has payed the price and is still paying it
