Just an update for those who were wondering:

The plywood/sawhorse table is near collapse. It's summer, so some nearby vines have grown onto it. I'm trying to figure out how to remove them without interfering with the experiment.

Waddaya mean, "interfering with the experiemnt" ?? It's definitely part of the experiment, the crossover threshold when structure becomes nutrient. Usually this is a rather vague gradient, here you have an ideal opportunity to pinpoint that threshold! It's a breakthrough!!

Pics or it never happened. How's the truck doing, as long as we are updating things.

I may take some pics today now that Doug has given me a good excuse for my laziness in not removing the vines.

The truck is restricted to daytime VFR operations at the moment. Keeps blowing fuses on the tail lights and the wipers are intermittent when they're not supposed to be. I'm starting to think that 18 years and 200,000 miles is enough.

The cg said crew safely off and boat abandoned!

Not sinking NOT SINKING,but damaged buy the dubble hurricane !

The other boats in the area were sinking, and damaged and one was broken in two and had a man lost!

Why not the Home Depot boat?

Was she scrapped?

Where is the fh?

How did she make it a few hundred miles off shore in such a short time?

Can't sail?

Cg made contact with fh as it crossed the shiping lanes, aprox 250 miles from sf bay,six days out!

No boards? Or sails?

How did she stay afloat and not collapse in the huge seas created by the magnitude of two hurricanes at the same time?

Weak build?

Looked like fh was ok in the cg footage I saw on tv!

How did fh make it back to montery area for rescue 120 miles from shore in 3 days?

No motors?

At that distance off shore,Would the beacon be picked up by the cg?

And how would the marine radio work that far out?

Hr was on maui, in lahina!

And seen in Chico, Calif,

And Vancover island Canada,

Then hana hawaii ,

Now hilo!

Did you really lose his boat in marin!

I Don't think that he's broke!

Or he swims well!

I heard his daughter is on a world tour!

I have a friend in canada who knew her before she left!

She also said you were lucky hr didn't catch any of you on his boat!

That's a squeegee for cleaning tall windows, not a radar antenna.
