WTF is it with you aussie's and being so worried about what happens in someone else's country??? You seem to have enough of your own problems at home.
Goodness! what a wretched little twerp of a man you are.

The Governor for America will be informed and you shall be required to present to the national Vegetable Peeler Registry where you shall be responsible for issuing permits to those wishing to carry a vegetable peeler in public.

In preparation, kindly reference item 5. above.
I actually have great respect for the old bird and will not impugn her by replying to this disrespectful sock. Regardless of what you think of the British royalty, she has carried herself with great dignity and class and has reflected well on her nation and the empire.
Ah hem..laughing at the queen (or king) is an age old tradition among colonials..you wouldn't understand.. I mean..who would have expected the old bird to go along withe the james bond olympic stunt..Lizzie has a sense of humour as dry and subtle as her subjects. She'd be laughing too..but Americans just don't get it.

I'm a republican but when Lizzie goes it will be the end of a era..her kids don't get it either.

Brilliant, I have a problem with 10. Gillian Anderson has the worst British accent and I'd rather have my ears removed with a cheese grater.

On a related matter, kindly transport all US elected officials to Australasia.
I have a problem with #10 too, but mostly because Andie McDowell's character in Four Weddings and a Funeral was American. So she didn't do a British accent there.

Gillian Anderson can use whatever accent she wants; my feelings for her shall never waver.

I am nuts about metric cuz 9 or 11 is easier than is 15/64 bigger or smaller than 7/32 when I am frustrated, sweaty and tired. But that's it. I know how far a mile is and my big step is exactly 3 feet. I have learned to calculate feet in tenths since I have to survey and topo stuff but that is as far as I am going.

I drink coffee black and beer cold. The end. And the best beer from over there is from Dublin anyway. and the other good thing is from the Highlands of Scotland which barely claims to be any part of the UK.

Mostly I like metric.

Except for temperature. Celsius isn't granular enough.

Entertaining idea "Your majesty". Of course as an American, I'll bow to no man, nor manly old woman. We still have a few reservations.

If England was still Great Britain, a thriving part of the EU, there might be some economic incentive.

Even without a functioning 3 branch Federal government, and with states spending all their energy competing with each other, we manage to do OK.

If England figures out how to cook better and appreciate an icy cold beer, we may be interested.

We understand your national dish is currently a ruined version of curry from another former colony.

We'll consider your health care system, It appears to suck less then ours.

We genuinely admire your amazing lack of government shutdowns.

We are happpy to trade our surplus lawyers for most anything that might actually be useful,

It is possible we may be persuaded to give away a few tons of our surplus guns.

But we are a bit confused. You seem to be caught in the middle between that crazy new metric system of Napoleon's and some obsolete peasant system of pounds and stones, farthings, yards, feet, pints, ounces, cups, etc. What is it?

Being a scientist, I'm capable of working with both! Have had worked in the UK and the US, I have no trouble with either system.
How big is a dram? How many mg in a grain? Its like operating instructions to a VCR, a waste of memory. I convert oz to ml so I can figure out volume. Cups, pints, quarts are most annoying to remember. Oz of weight vs volume are a great way to confuse as well. I'll admit I don't think distance in km as fast as I do with miles, fuel economy is mpg. pressure is PSI and temperature is F so I have to approximate to a common reference point (0=32, 25=nice, 37=98, 100=212). They designed Fahrenheit with 0 being the temperature ocean water froze, not realizing salinity varied, and 100 as human core body temperature, but since thermometers were accurate to a couple degrees they missed on both ends. Even in a metric socket set (is a spanner the ratchet, socket, or the combination?) the peg is 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2". Metric sockets sold to the US market presumably must be custom made different from those used around the rest of the world. Then there is the debate on appropriate house voltage and hertz. (100v, 110v, 120v, 127v, 220v, 230v, 240v at either 50 or 60 cycles / second).

To WhiteLightnin' from Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

I think this is a great idea. Nothing unites us like threatening us. It would be an easy war with few casualties. Plus it would give us the perfect platform for flattening the rest of the Your A Peein' Union!! ;)

One might assume you are recalling my address to the United Nations General Assembly in preparing your post.

"I know of no single formula for success. But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together."

It is commendable however I fear you are merely expressing insolence in protest of your fate. The Governor for America will be informed and you shall be required to present to the national "Metric Is Easy" call centre and work in the capacity of Tea Lady. In preparation, kindly reference item 15. above.
+1 on the real Queen of England being a class act.

As far as the "metric is easy" assignment, I will be here patiently awaiting your arrival. I prefer 9mm thru 20mm and all calibers in between. Upon your arrival we will treat you and yours as we did a few hundred years ago. I will be patiently awaiting the arrival or your "guvnor" and it's assorted pointy hatted minions!

With TEA.

Well I thought the OP was most amusing :) Imagine.
What's the difference between "jelly" and "jam"?

You can't "Jelly" your dick into some girl's ass........
Fuck the Queen! Then again I'd love to see you stupid cunts learn how to spell. Arsehole
In a bar in Hong Kong around 1974 "someone" shouted exactly that following a toast by a bunch of Brit sailors to the Queen. After a long pause, a pitcher of beer sailed across the bar and crashed on the table "someone" and his buddies were sitting at. Then things were immediately a little.......hectic.......till the Shore Patrol arrived. Then "someone" got restricted to the ship for a few days that they were underway for anyway.

Moral of the story.........Brits are frigging touchy about their queen and the Skipper had a sense of humor.
