That if you bring a firearm into an environment then someone can just grab it out of your holster and start shooting people. No need for them to buy one or get a background check. To me it’s silly that leos open carry into restaurants or whatever. They would be better off just holding it in their hand or leaving it in the car.

So, Law Enforcement Officers should either walk in with their gun in hand or leave the gun in the car?
Would they be allowed to holster the gun in order to pay the cashier for their coffee or just put it down on the counter...
Just because a gun is in an open carry holster doesn't mean any kook can just pluck it out, willy nilly... 1, 2 and 3+ stage retention and all.
